Links for Viewing Crown

Greetings Atlantia!

Our fair kingdom has an amazing, innovative, and highly skilled team working to bring the kingdom a livestream of portions of the Crown Tournament event this Saturday, May 1, 2021! We would like to give you an idea of what to expect – assuming the internet access at Elchenburg Castle works as expected. We intend to provide the following publicly available resources:

1) A live stream on YouTube of at least the semifinals, finals, and coronation of the new Heirs.

2) A separate live stream on a second YouTube channel displaying the Tournament Tree of Heraldic Shields for each combatant. This tree is a product of coordination between the IT team, the Kingdom Heralds, and the MOLs onsite. The tree will be updated throughout the tournament so the populace can keep track of the tournament’s progress.

3) A live stream on YouTube of their Majesties’ Royal Court at 4:00pm.

4) After the event has concluded and the team has had a chance to catch our collective breaths, we intend to release a high-quality video to YouTube with footage of the full tournament, the crowning of the Heirs, and Their Majesties’ court. It may take a week or so to pull the footage together, so bear with us.

ALL LINKS for the events on May 1 are now published on https://virtual.atlantia.sca.org/

Schedule:

1) The tournament is scheduled to begin at 12:00noon. We cannot predict how long it will take to get to the semi-finals, so keep an eye on Facebook and the Merry Rose email list as the day progresses for announcements regarding when the live stream will begin.
